Future: Immagine and explore new challenges for Interior Design
The second edition of the workshop 'Future: Immagine and explore new challenges for Interior Design' with the BA in Interior Design students at Politecnico di Milano Design School. This two-day workshop aimed to stimulate critical reflection and discussion on social challenges and the role of interior design in building more thriving futures.
- How will the evolution of climate change impact one’s life?
- How will humans adapt to these changes and learn to coexist with the new environment and other co-inhabitants (natural and artificial)??

This workshop uses Science Fiction (Sci-Fi) films to trigger a critical discussion among the students and applies an envisioning tool developed by Mila Stepanović", Technological and Societal Inspiration Cards.” The Envisioning tool supports the critical analysis of societal challenges as they are represented in Sci-Fi narratives. Throughout this trip into the fictional worlds, the students build What if? scenarios. The activity concludes with a discussion about how to generate new topics for interior design in present."
