P.O.D. is a transnational research project co-founded by European Commission-SAF€RA 2014 joint call-grant agreement number 291812 conducted at Design Department of Politecnico di Milano and in collaboration with Delft University and Comftech s.rl. This Project focuses on development of a novel concept to prevent respiratory diseases inside the specific working environment of a coating plant.
The result of the project is a system Plurisensorial Device to prevent Occupational disesas that consists of 4 parts:
- Electronic Nose Device,
- Respiratory Mask with a T/humidity sensor
- 2 mobile app and
- Respiratory chest bend.
This project resulted with 2 patents and numerous publications.
